Senior Test Engineer

If We Are Right About You, Please Read On!

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Software Engineering, CSE or related field with strong command of industry knowledge.
• Proven experience in both manual and automated testing of complex software systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead QA project, define test strategies, and manage testing timelines across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test design techniques, and test lifecycle management.
• Hands-on proficiency with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
• Workeble in scripting/coding knowledge in JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with version control (Git), issue tracking (JIRA), and test management tools (e.g., Testmo, TestRail, TestLink).
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and experience testing with Postman or Swagger Dothttp.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication — able to coordinate effectively with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for product quality and delivery timelines.

• You have delivered the Scandinavian standard projects before.
• You have worked with European customers and colleagues before. Any experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
• GDPR awareness.
• Familiarity with Scrum, Jira, Confluence, and Kanban.
• Contributions to QA communities, open-source projects, or blogs.

• Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and automation roadmaps aligned with product goals.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and DevOps to ensure quality across SDLC.
• Oversee the execution and reporting of all test activities (manual and automated).
• Conduct test reviews and ensure adherence to testing best practices and documentation standards.
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on testability and quality risks.
• Drive the development and maintenance of scalable automated test suites for web, mobile, and API layers.
• Challenge existing automation tools both external and internal.
• Manage and optimize test environments, CI/CD pipelines, and test data management.
• Facilitate defect triage, coordinate fixes, and track resolutions with engineering teams.
• Ensure traceability and coverage across user stories, requirements, and test cases.
• Promote a culture of quality, encouraging early testing and automation-first principles.
• Communicate progress, risks, and insights clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
